LS1 vs. JM1
With all these leaked images and videos that dropped the past couple of days, the only one that caught my attention was the LS1 battery. The last thing we need is another 9900 battery issue on our hands. Here is the leaked “help video” of a showing how to insert the Battery and SIM card into the BlackBerry 10 L-series launched from the multitasking tiles.
Yes, we all know how bad it could be. Always having to put the data on edge, never creating wifi hotspots, caring two batteries, etcetera, etcetera… so this time the BB10 battery must be legit! I was so pleased to see the capacity much more vast. Although the operating system determines how the battery is utilized, stirring into the mix a larger screen, snappy processor and rapid LTE speeds, power is defiantly a concern. Below is a simple comparison I created of the LS1 vs. the JM1.
Maximum Voltage: 4.35V - Maximum Voltage: 4.2 V
Rated Voltage: 3.8V - Rated Voltage: 3.7V
Capacity : 1800 mAh (6.7Wh) - Capacity : 1230 mAh (4.6Wh)
